Liberty to Maple to Scio Church; turned around after a few miles because I did not want to make this a very long ride. Back the same way.

Interesting happenings
Had a few scares. The first one occurred when I was on my way back. I was in the shadows of some overhanging trees, and I was wearing black shorts & a black t-shirt, so I probably was not highly visible to oncoming traffic. Someone in an SUV was speeding towards me in my lane passing a few other cars. This shook me up a bit when I thought about what would have happened if the vehicle had been much farther over in the lane.
The second one was due to a small fear of a repeat of my double flat tire experience on Tuesday, because I was covering the same stretch of road. Much to my relief, my ride across that patch of road was uneventful.
Impressions of Ride
I'm not feeling like much of a powerhouse these days, despite getting in some riding during the week. I hope I start to get stronger quickly.
