Interesting Happenings

I left earlier today than yesterday, and it paid off. Just about the time I would have been leaving yesterday, I was returning and was within several miles of home today. Even so, it was already getting darker than I'd have liked for safety and aesthetic reasons. I realized that leaving by 3 p.m. during the winter was still not quite early enough, especially if I had taken a longer ride than I did.

Because I'd left earlier, I'd been able to ride minus one of the layers I'd had to wear yesterday. But on the way back, around the time I'd have been leaving yesterday, I stopped to don that extra layer.

Impressions of Ride

I could tell that I was tired from the previous day, and probably somewhat out of shape as well. However, I did fine, and did not suffer unduly from this relatively short ride.
